List of UFC events

This is a list of events scheduled and held with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), a mixed martial arts marketing based in the United States. UFC’s primary event, UFC 1, happened on November 12, 1993. Each UFC event includes conflicts. Traditionally, each event starts off with a preliminary card followed with a main card, together with the final struggle known as the main event.
UFC events are split into seven different formats:
“Numbered” occasions, currently airing on pay-per-view, with a few exceptions
“UFC on ESPN” events, currently airing on ESPN
“UFC on Fox” events, previously aired on Fox
“Fight Night” events, formerly aired on Spike, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports two or UFC Fight Pass. Currently airing on ESPN+
“The Ultimate Fighter Finale” occasions, previously aired on Spike, FX, Fox Sports 1 or UFC Fight Pass. Will start on ESPN+ in 2019
“UFC on FX” events, formerly aired on FX
“UFC on Fuel TV” occasions, previously aired on Fuel TV
“UFC Live” occasions, previously aired on Versus
Most of the”numbered” events have happened on pay-per-view, though there have been several exceptions for reasons such as tape-delay. Occasions like UFC 72, which took place in Belfast, Northern Ireland, U.K., were sold on pay-per-view, but because of tape-delay, buy rates weren’t as high as events which aired in a conventional starting time. [1] Therefore, events taking part in significantly different time zones, including UFC 70, UFC 75, UFC 89, UFC 95, UFC 105, UFC 120, UFC 122, and UFC 138, were awarded a same-night broadcasting in American prime time on Spike. Historically, the UFC has also aired preliminary struggles ahead of the principal battle cards, possibly on tv through Spike, FX, and Fuel TV, or online via Facebook and YouTube. Beginning in August 2013, beginning with UFC Fight Night: Shogun vs. Sonnen, the UFC began airing non-PPV events on Fox Sports 1 or Fox Sports 2. [3] In January 2014, as a portion of their organization’s global expansion, the UFC began airing various foreign events exclusively on their subscription-based digital network, UFC Fight Pass. [4]
In July 2009, the UFC held its unofficial 100th”inaugural occasion”; nonetheless, formally, despite being known as UFC 100, it was really the 101st numbered event (not to mention that the 133rd event overall).
