Danny Rose has pledged to get his say his uncertain summer with Tottenham, that made him available for sale.
Rose’s time at Spurs appeared to be finished after he had been left from the club’s pre-season excursion to Asia so he could”investigate prospective opportunities with other clubs”, but a movement never materialised.
The 29-year-old has started all Tottenham’s Premier League matches this season and was handed an England beginning on Saturday in the Qualifier against Bulgaria.
Rose is content at how things have played out but says the full facts about his situation have not yet come .
“It was not tough, it is what it is,” he said. “Not everything that has been publicised at the summer was completely true and I believe in the future I will have my say about everything that happened but I don’t need to focus on negativity at that minute.
“I guess I should be happy with maybe being up for sale and having started the first four games for Tottenham and the first England match of the effort.
“I can not lie I am quite satisfied, but that I just wish to say that everything which was composed in the summer was not completely correct.”
Regardless of Spurs’ willingness to proceed from this summer, Rose doesn’t doubt his skills and that he insists that his relationship with director Mauricio Pochettino remains powerful.
“I don’t need to prove myself to anybody,” he explained. “I have a manager at club level who knows me. You look at last year, I played with at the quarter-final of the Champions League, I played with semi-finals of the Champions League and I played at the closing.
“So I have a manager there who thinks in me.
“Then in case you look at international I’ve got a manager that whenever I have been available for choice I’ve been chosen. He completely believes in me and I’m very thankful.
“I’m blessed to have managers at club level and worldwide level who believe in me.
“I really don’t feel I’ve got something to prove to anyone and that I feel as if I’ve done enough over the years to show my worth.
“I clearly simply need to refund everybody that’s shown faith in me and it’s been a excellent start to the campaign and I am looking forward to what’s ahead.”
