Jordan Rankin and Joe Wardle Castleford-Huddersfield swap deals extended for 2020
Huddersfield and castleford have expanded a swap deal involving second-rower Joe Wardle and utility back Jordan Rankin.
Rankin moved on loan to the Tigers with Wardle returning to Huddersfield within their bargain, in the start of the 2019 Super League year, and the two players will stay with their clubs to get 2020.
Tigers coach Daryl Powell is pleased to secure the help of Rankin, a 27-year-old Australian who also scored 11 attempts and 18 goals .
Jordan has been outstanding for us this year and were thrilled to have him on board moving ahead, Powell explained.
He has been a high quality player for all, especially when he transferred into full-back, therefore I am absolutely delighted he will be with us next year and I am convinced he will reach additional heights as a participant at the Tigers.
