Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars: AFC South rivals meet on TNF

Week Three Starts with the Jacksonville Jaguars hosting the Tennessee Titans live on Sky Sports Action and Main Event.

This is what to expect…
Who would be the Tennessee Titans (1-1)? Can you figure them out? After obliterating the Browns 43-13 in Cleveland in Week 1 – with Marcus Mariota throwing for three touchdown passes and 248 yards – they flopped in the home to the Colts in Week 2.
It is average for a team that has gone to be erratic this way. But they have been able to top the Jaguars.
The Jags (0-2) have experienced a heartbreaking start. They believed they had finally acquired a franchise quarterback to fix their insecurities in the position in preceding Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles. He also suffered a broken collarbone in the first quarter of this season and has been placed on injured reserve.
In his stead, sixth-round pick Gardner Minshew has played incredibly well (45-58, 488 yards, three touchdowns and one pick) but hasn’t managed to find the team on the line for a triumph.
The Jags fell to Kansas City in Week One however had the game in their palms against the Texans. However, a 13-12 loss was meant by a conversion following the last-gasp TD to DJ Chark of Minshew.
Marcus Mariota is as bemusing as a whole as the Titans. He is one of just four quarterbacks (Tom Brady, Lamar Jackson and Case Keenum) to start both games and have no giveaways this year and is on pace for career highs in passer rating, yards a week and TD:INT ratio. Last week he couldn’t come through when it mattered most and had just 154 yards.
Last time these two teams met, Derrick Henry ran to get four touchdowns, which included an NFL record-tying 99-yard TD run and a franchise-record 238 yards. Over the past six weeks dating back into this game, he also leads the NFL in rushing yards (750) and touchdowns (nine).
The Titans have ball-hawks on the back that is defensive. Logan Ryan includes a pick in each of the first two games, although Kevin Byard has the most interceptions (13) in the league since 2017.
Will Gardner Minshew last his career start? The charismatic 23-year-old had the highest-ever completion percentage (88) in a introduction in NFL history in Week 1, also led a fantastic comeback drive last week.
The team weapon on the outside so much has been second-year recipient DJ Chark, that has 201 yards, 11 catches and two touchdowns after just 14-174-0 all last year. He’s a heavy threat.
Outspoken cornerback Jalen Ramsey was in the spotlight again this week after locking horns with head coach Doug Marrone during the loss of last week and subsequently requesting a transaction. The team is believed to possess”no plans” to let him go, so will he suit up? Can he show outside or rebel so as to escape? Cameras will be educated on him.
This game might define the long run of Marrone . With their season at stake, will the players try to conserve their coach and come out flying? Or do they lack inspiration after last week’s near-miss? Their commitment and performance as a team is essential.
When the Titans can take an early lead, look for them to pound on the ball and also make it five straight away from their AFC South rivals.
