Hibernian boss Paul Heckingbottom rules out return to manage Barnsley
Hibernian manager Paul Heckingbottom has ruled out returning to manage Barnsley.
The 42-year-old left Barnsley to manage Yorkshire rivals Leeds at 2018 and has been connected with a return on Oakwell once Daniel Stendel was sacked by them.
However he explained:This isnt for me. Thats for somebody else.
I will never stop supporting them and Ill return as frequently as I can. I have not seen this season yet but I can at some stage.
I will watch with curiosity that they appoint. But Ill be honest, Ive not been looking at names that are in for this – Im too busy
The Hibs side of heckingbottom have suffered a difficult start to the year from the Premiership, sitting 10th and winning just one of their opening eight games.
Barnsley are known to be looking for one more supervisor to substitute Stendel.
